Worcester MA’s Finest Pizza

Pizza Napoletana Volturno

The open kitchen drives Volturno to the top of the finest pizza restaurants in Worcester, MA. Fundamentally, it’s a cave where cooks entertain you with a colorful display of their creations.

This isn’t the calm and refined environment of a traditional pizza, but rather an energetic one in which cooks speak in charming Italian tones while doing their magic, and I enjoyed the enthusiasm.

This is more than just another pizza store, as the inside is furnished from Baroque relics to modern art that will melt any enthusiast’s heart.

Volturno has a wide selection of pies that invites experimenting. My meal was a basic Margherita pizza, a seasonal Cavolo salad, and freshly made iced tea. Even though the thin crust pizza (Napolitano style) might have been crisper, it was still great.

They obviously use high-quality ingredients, and it shows. The salad with baby kale, apple slices, walnuts, dried cranberries, gorgonzola, and pomegranate with an apple cider vinaigrette, for example, was amazing!

If you prefer mushrooms, try their Funghi Pizza, which has wild mushrooms, truffle cream, and all the cheese you could desire.

I understand that mushrooms are popular pizza toppings, but what about spring squashes? The Zucca pizza has these ingredients, as well as mint, Panna, pine nuts, and ricotta.

Volturno has been a popular favorite owing to its extensive menu and high quality, whether you’re a wild kid pizza fan or a traditionalist. So don’t forget to go!

The Wonder Bar

Wonder Bar has been in operation for a long time. They’ve long been known for their delectable pizza and made-to-order pasta meals.

Although they started as a pub, they have lately turned into a pizza delivery service, which means you can order almost everything on their menu without having to wait in line.

The design was so vintage, and the jukebox played so many old and new songs, that I felt transported back to the 1960s both outdoors and inside.

Some people may be put off by how ancient it seems, but that is precisely what I liked about it.

We ordered the chicken, garlic, and spinach special pizza with a pitcher of Sam Adams! Superb thin crust with acidic sauce and plenty of garlic.

My guests had pasta with red sauce and mushrooms and spaghetti with meatballs, all of which were great and plenty.

If you’re seeking for delicious pizza, be sure to check out this fantastic eatery. It is a choice you will not be sorry for!

Ristorante Leos

If your mouth is watering right now, it’s because you’re thinking about Leos Ristorante’s incredible pizza offerings. That’s what I thought as soon as I walked in, as the smells of caldrons of pasta and scarlet sauce filled my nose with each new door that opened. Leos offers some of the greatest pizza in Worcester, MA.

The benefit of being a Leo is that you can cook your own pizza. Who doesn’t love the freedom of adding any toppings they choose on their dough sheet?

As an appetizer, I served stuffed mushrooms and an antipasto salad. The mushrooms were stuffed with shrimp and the antipasto was served cold with all of the typical Italian cold meats. Wonderful.

While their pizzas are great, I was looking for something different for my main course supper. Their Shrimp Risotto Alla Milanese was outstanding.

The risotto was well prepared, and the sauce was tasty and full of shellfish. The scallops, shrimp, and lobster were all cooked to perfection. I picked spumoni for dessert, which I hadn’t eaten in years. That paired great with a delicious claret sauce.

If you prefer to branch out, try their Panino Pizza, which has caramelized onions, sausage, and ricotta cheese. Leos is a Worcester tradition and a great location to hang out with friends and family!

Pizza at Kelley Square

Everyone who like pizza should try Kelley Square Pizza. This restaurant in Worcester’s vibrant Kelley Square district delivers some of the best old-fashioned pizza in town.

Its warm and fluffy crust is stacked high with pepperoni, mushrooms, and spinach, suggesting that their oven has been used more than once or twice a day.

I got the Chix Broc Alfredo, which came with a wonderful alfredo sauce, grilled chicken, broccoli, and melt-in-your-mouth cheese. That tasted like bliss in my tongue!

My buddy had their Honey BBQ Chicken Pizza with bacon and caramelized onions and was blown away!

If you like pizza, this is a must-see; you will want more after your visit!

By The Slice at Antonios Pizza

Antonios Pizza is a favorite of mine since I always have a nice time there and they produce some of the greatest pizza in Worcester MA. It is a bustling pizza parlor that has operated in Worcester for many years and has become an important element of the city’s real estate market.

They constantly utilize locally grown and seasonal ingredients for their pizza. The restaurant is perfect for a meal with friends or family. Antonios has broken the mold and deviated from the conventional when it comes to producing pizza.

The restaurant is huge and spacious, with several sitting choices, including bar and terrace chairs, which are always appreciated.

I started with the French truffle fries. These were tasty but a touch greasy; they were not saturated, but they seemed oily when they came. I can’t stop myself from picking at the basket. It is always vacant by the time we leave.

My main dish was a Hawaiian pizza with jalapenos. I appreciate how their pizza isn’t too thick, but it’s also not too thin, like a flatbread pizza, resulting in the perfect combination of thick and thin. They also cook their pizzas in a brick oven, which results in a crisper and more cooked pizza.

There is also music and sitting outside, which contributes to the vibrant and exciting atmosphere. Therefore, stop by Antonios Pizza to try their unique pies in a warm and welcoming environment!
