The cuisines of practically every country in the globe are represented in Mexico City’s restaurants due to the city’s incredible diversity.

When I visit Mexico City, I typically stick to the neighborhoods of Roma Norte, Juarez, Condesa, and Polanco because those are the neighborhoods in which I have the most experience staying.

However, I feel that the following list will be beneficial for the majority of you since it’s probable that if you’re going to be vacationing in CDMX, you’ll be staying in one of these identical areas.

You have to be aware that the food and service at Quintonil are given more priority than the ostentatious design of the restaurant. The restaurant has a straightforward layout, and there are maybe fifteen or so seats available.

In Mexico City, Quintonil is without a doubt the best choice for me when it comes to eating at upscale establishments. This establishment provided us with a more enjoyable eating experience than Pujol did.

We went for the Summer Tasting menu, and there was not a single dish that we were disappointed with. The Stone Crab, the Grilled Wild Mushrooms, and the Roasted Heirloom Tomato Salad were some of our personal favorites. We decided to forego the wine pairing in favor of selecting a bottle from the extensive and competitively priced selection of wines.

It was a delight to try each meal, and I commend the inventiveness of the chef for incorporating a wide variety of ingredients into each dish.

We never got the impression that we had to wait very long for the next meal, despite the fact that the service was outstanding and the dinner was moved at a moderate pace.

In Mexico City, if you are a gourmet who enjoys tasting new cuisines and cuisines with various tastes, I wholeheartedly suggest Quintonil as the best restaurant for you to dine at. You will need to make your reservation request a very long time in advance.

Guzina Oaxaca

Alejandro Ruiz, a well-known Oaxacan chef, is the only proprietor of Guzina Oaxaca, which is the only restaurant in Mexico City that bears his name. He came up with an original idea for a gourmet experience, which included taking the customers on a tour of different cuisines.

In his capacity as Executive Chef at Hotel Casa Oaxaca and Oaxaca House Casa Oaxaca Restaurant & Cafe, Alejandro Ruiz is the creator and development of the gourmet concept known as “Casa Oaxaca.”

It was a wonderful and unexpected discovery for us to find an Oaxacan nook in Mexico City when we went there for breakfast. The lighting is adequate, and the furnishings are simple but lovely.

We had the Tlayuda with Chorizo, which was (nearly) as nice as what you can purchase in the marketplace in Oaxaca. We also tried the Salsa de Queso Fresco with Nopalitos (it’s like a soup, flavored green tomato sauce with huge chunks of fried, fresh cheese and cactus). Both of these dishes were delicious.

Their juices are made on the premises, so you know they are fresh, and their coffee comes from Chiapas state, so you know it is strong. Excellent service; the owner came to our table to interact with us, educating us about the food of Oaxaca, and making sure that everything was up to our standards.

In Mexico City, if you want to try some delicious Oaxacan food for lunch or supper, you should go to this restaurant.

Sushi Iwashi

This place serves some of the greatest sushi I’ve eaten all year, regardless of the city I’ve been in; it’s authentic sushi, and the tastes and combinations are out of this world.

Their nigiris are the most important aspect of the game. You can literally fill your face with them due to their high quality and vast variety. They are not inexpensive, with a toro costing more than 100 pesos and a red snapper going for just 25 pesos.

I ate somewhere in the neighborhood of half a dozen nigiri and a rice dish with a variety of seafood, including tuna, salmon, and white fish. I could have gone for more, but I thought it would be better to save something back for the next time!

If you are seeking for genuine Asian cuisine in this district of Mexico City, you should definitely pay this restaurant a visit!

Ostería del Becco

This restaurant manages to give a lovely and sophisticated ambiance without going over the top. For the benefit of those who are unaware, the eatery is owned by Massimo Bottura, who was awarded the title of having the best restaurant in the world for his establishment in Modena not long ago.

This restaurant offers traditional dishes from the Italian cuisine. The food is prepared using all natural components, and it is geared at meeting a diverse set of requirements at the same time.

The wine list is certainly something to take note of; at around five centimeters (nearly two inches!) in thickness, it has to be one of the most comprehensive lists of Italian wines in Mexico.

In addition, the sommelier is well-versed in the selections that are offered, but at the same time, he or she maintains an air of modesty by encouraging and enticing the wine neophyte. Additionally, the cava has a pleasing appearance.

No matter how busy it was, the restaurant never failed to wow us with its delicious selection of dishes. The pasta has never been undercooked or overdone; rather, it is consistently al dente, which is just how we want it. The other meals were always brought out in a timely manner and were kept at the ideal temperature.

The grilled octopus and vegetables are particularly noteworthy; the octopus is perfectly chewy without being overly so, and the vegetables have reached their full potential as a result of the use of only the lightest possible amount of spice, which allows all of the vegetable’s inherent flavors to come through.

My one and only “complaint” is that the serving sizes might be reduced somewhat so that individuals or smaller parties may order more dishes from the menu. The dish has a traditional Italian flavor, but it has been updated with a few contemporary touches here and there. It was such a wonderful adventure that I can’t say enough good things about it!

Rosa Negra

This restaurant was nothing less than extraordinary in every way. Rosa Negra has a genuine appreciation for the dining experience, providing not just a lovely ambiance, but also attentive service from wait staff, live music, and, most importantly, outstanding cuisine.

We made our first visit to Rosa Negra since it is one of my favorite restaurants in Tulum, despite the fact that it is part of a smaller local business. Generally speaking, I do not include chain restaurants in my lists.

Everything from the pleasant atmosphere to the friendly staff members contributes to its dazzling appearance. And I haven’t even begun talking about the food yet. The meal was made to a very high standard. Everything had a feeling of being fresh and had been prepared to perfection.

At each stage of the process, we were attended to by two different individuals who provided us with information on what we were eating and how it was prepared.

The steaks and seafood at Rosa Negra have earned it a well-deserved reputation. I accompanied my filet mignon with both the crab bisque and the risotto. Both of the meals were flavorful and provided a good amount of food. My buddy who ordered from New Zealand raved about how tasty the fish was.

It would be inexcusable of me to forget to mention the drinks! They are so unique that it would be an understatement to call them one-of-a-kind. I ordered a margarita, but as I looked around the restaurant at the other patrons’ beverages, I saw skulls, light bulbs, and other drinks that sparkled.

In general, we had a wonderful time throughout that encounter. Everything was of the highest quality and executed to absolute perfection. This restaurant in Mexico City will always make you feel like a king or queen no matter what.

It is highly recommended that you eat at Chapulin if you are in Mexico City in search of a reliable Mexican restaurant. Numerous awards have been bestowed upon it in recognition of the genuine Mexican food it serves.

The architecture of this property is breathtaking, and it makes excellent use of the park that is located nearby. The deep brown color of the wall, which looks like a chocolate mole, draws attention to the nature that is just outside.

The breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus at Chapulin restaurant are all filled with delectable options that contain fresh fish and shellfish. The interior design is up to date, lavish, and expansive; these characteristics make it appropriate for any event.

The first items that we were served were guacamole, Flor de Calabaza, and Tiraditos. Both the guacamole and the chips were perfectly balanced in terms of the amount of heat and taste. The Flor de Calabaza was wonderful. Tiraditos with charred pork were quite refreshing, making them an excellent choice for palate cleansing.

The main dish consisted of fresh fish topped with black mole, tacos de carne with mole, and tacos de lechon.

The mole went well with the fish tacos as well as the fish itself. The tacos made with lechon were quite tasty. The atmosphere was cheery and optimistic. In general, I found this Mexican restaurant to be quite genuine, and I would definitely visit it again.

Tori Tori

In Mexico City, the restaurant Tori Tori is known for its excellent sushi and sophisticated dining. Customers are able to get the most out of their dining experience because to the exquisite atmosphere, excellent service, and world-class food that are all offered at this establishment.

As soon as you go through a door that isn’t really evident and doesn’t have any kind of sign, the adventure will begin.

You can’t help but wonder whether the same level of care has been placed into the preparation of the cuisine, given how beautiful the environment and the building are. Incredible authentic French food right in the middle of Polanco. The restaurant has a sophisticated ambiance, beautiful views of the park, and delectable cuisine; it can be found in Lincoln Park.

The restaurant and the food had an old-fashioned feel to them, almost like something out of the movie Casablanca.

We started out with champagne and escargot, and then moved on to French onion soup with gruyere on top, an apple, raw artichoke slices, braised lima beans, and arugula salad. While my companion chose the salmon, I went with the fillet of sole with morel cream sauce. It was delicious.

The night was capped off with a soufflé made with Grand Marnier and more champagne. The evening was lovely, in spite of the fact that it was pouring rain outside. Upstairs, while sitting by the open windows, we had a fantastic evening that will stand out in my memory for a long time.

I really hope that more people be aware of this location since it was an amazing experience that I would want to relive the next time that we are in CDMX and are in the mood for French food.

The rooftop pool is a wonderful place to relax when the weather is nice, and it will provide you with a serene atmosphere that is apart from the commotion that is occurring below. The cuisine is fantastic, and there are a lot of activities available for both children and adults to participate in.

While my companions had the Chilaquiles, Avocado toast, and Burger, I went with the Huevos motuleos.

The eggs were scrambled with cheese and butter, and they are some of the greatest scrambled eggs I’ve ever had. Another dish that I really like was the scrambled eggs served on peasant bread.

Everything was great, and it was shown in a stunning manner. In addition to that, they provide excellent coffee and almond milk. A location that should not be missed for any meal in the Polanco area!

Blanco Castelar

This restaurant, although being on the smaller side, has a number of remarkable attributes. In addition to having outstanding service, the several rooms are beautifully designed, and the cuisine is delectable.

We started off the meal with some of the most delicious grilled artichokes I’ve ever tasted. We furthermore had pig tacos, fried cheese tacos, and tacos filled with langoustine. They arrived with four different salsas, all of which were excellent accompaniments to our appetizers.

Both the grilled fillet and the sea bass that we shared were very delicious. From the extensive wine selection, we selected an outstanding Argentinian Malbec that was offered at an affordable price.

Those with a passion for food will find this to be a haven where they can indulge in extraordinary dishes that are presented artfully in a vibrant setting.

On one of Polanco’s loveliest side streets may be found the cozy little café with the outside seating area. In my view, it satisfies all of the requirements that should be met by an excellent hamburger restaurant.

The dish is put together using components of a superior grade. You have the option of constructing your own burger using the toppings and ingredients of your choosing, such as bacon, goat cheese, prosciutto, portobello mushrooms, shrimp, guacamole, and other veggies.

In addition, there are pre-designed burgers that are named after rock icons like Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Carlos Santana, and others.

We ordered two of the classic burgers with extra cheddar and bacon, and they just blew our minds.

This sandwich was juicy, salty, sweet, hot from the pickled jalapenos, and cheesy all at the same time. It came with a tomato slice as well. The messiness is just right. It blew my mind.

The atmosphere is quite pleasant, and the food is above average. I enjoyed my time there. Both the prices and the serving sizes were quite fair in comparison to other places in the area. The portions are substantial enough to be split among many people.

I tried the chilaquiles, and although they were good, I think they could need a little more heat. Other than that, I didn’t have any complaints about the meal. In addition to that, I was given a biscuit, which was fantastic; it was chewy on the inside and crispy on the outside.

There is outstanding service, in addition to a really friendly environment. The restaurant itself has a warm and inviting atmosphere that is quite enjoyable to be there. In general, I have nothing but praise for them.

The wonderful Botánico also serves up some mouthwatering fare. After my first trip, I’ve been here several times since then. The sense of closeness and familiarity that is conveyed throughout Botánico is among the game’s most endearing qualities.

The service is quite pleasant, and as soon as you walk in, you feel completely at ease. The ambiance is quite pleasant, and since there aren’t a lot of alternatives on the menu, you can feel sure about your selection (which is helpful for those who struggle to make decisions, like myself!).

The atmosphere at the restaurant in Mexico City is quite relaxed, and there is soft music playing in the background throughout the day and at each meal. Because of this, the restaurant is an excellent choice for a night out with friends or a date. The amazing cactus that have been growing in the heart of the garden for the last forty years.

We had the opportunity to try a variety of dishes, such as the Caesar salad, the tuna and shrimp carpaccio, the oysters, the fried squid, the sea bass, and, deserving of special recognition, the organic baked chicken, which was prepared to a high standard.

It is also important to mention the hamburgers and the desserts, particularly the chocolate cake and the strawberry cream variant on it. In general, it’s a warm and welcoming restaurant that serves up some excellent food. Try it out for yourself!

ALPHI Pizzería Artesanal

Although there are other options, Alphii Pizzeria Artesanal is one of the pizzerias in Mexico City that I like to visit the most often. The food is wonderful, and there are many delicious meals to choose from. The ingredients are all very fresh.

Visit this restaurant for a delicious and reasonably priced lunch of genuine Mexican fare or exquisite Italian cuisine.

You should try the pizzas that have clams and mushrooms on them. Their ice cream flavors were also a delightful surprise; they are developed in-house, and we tasted the Gorgonzola & Pear, Oatmeal, and Stout Beer & Pretzels types, and we liked all of them! Certainly not to be missed if you find yourself at or around CDMX.

Ojo de Agua

In all of my travels, Ojo de Agua stands out to me as one of the most memorable cafés I’ve ever stopped in. In spite of the fact that it is situated in a fashionable and up-to-date neighborhood, it manages to maintain a laid-back and genuine air whilst giving the impression of being trendy.

In spite of the fact that it is part of a franchise, the bohemian aesthetic with rustic details creates an atmosphere that is perfect for getting your day started in Mexico City. The salads are made with fresh ingredients, and there is a diverse selection of egg substitutes.

This establishment is both a grocery shop and a cozy café all in one. They provide a selection of mouthwatering options from which you may choose and choose! You may also purchase products such as vegetables, milk, eggs, and other foods. Their goods are almost all organic and acquired from inside the local community.

I had both their mouthwatering Chilaquiles and their equally tempting Matcha Green Tea Latte. Both were excellent. In addition to that, their smoothies and juices have an incredibly high level of freshness. The portion sizes are also ridiculously large, especially when compared to Mexican norms.

Pay them a visit for lunch and enjoy people-watching as they navigate the charming and verdant area in which they live.

Pizzas Nosferatu

If you are looking for a gourmet pizza in the Condesa area, Pizzas Nosferatu stands out from the rest of the throng among the various Italian restaurants that are spread out over Colonial Condesa and Roma.

Their pizza is made from 100% organic ingredients from start to finish. While the other cheeses originate from local farms located across Mexico, the fresh Parmesan is imported all the way from Uruguay.

Think about ordering the pizza with roasted garlic and prosciutto, fresh onion marmalade, or the Torino sausage with mushrooms. Absolutely fantastic!

It is possible that you may be required to wait for a little while in order to obtain a table due to the limited amount of space, but the wait will be well worth it in the end. This eatery gets a very good recommendation from us!

The fact that Azul serves a variety of Mexican specialties from different regions makes it an intriguing restaurant for me. It’s common knowledge that Mexicans are recognized for their warm hospitality and excellent customer service.

There are a wide variety of guacamole preparations from which to choose. I selected one that had guava and pomegranate, and it turned out to be an excellent choice.

As an appetizer, we had some Panuchos de Cochinita Pibil, and they were out of this world. For the main course, I had the fillet with chipotle salsa. I cherished each and every second of it! The tastes were unique and delicate at the same time.

Of course, we also drank margaritas during the party. In addition, there is a list with numerous categories from which to choose one. The service was of the highest caliber!

I really want to go back and sample all of those interesting new tastes. Consequently, I suggest that you go there as well!

El Pescadito

In the heart of Mexico City is the quick-service eatery known as Pescadito, which serves seafood tacos. Although there are just 12 tables in the restaurant, it is very popular with both locals and visitors.

We’ve eaten here quite a few times, and it’s easily one of my top picks for restaurants in Mexico City that specialize on seafood.

After receiving our beverages, which had been set out for us on a table, we walked up to the counter and made our orders for the tacos, which consisted of delectable shrimp tacos as well as mixed shrimp and fish tacos.

After that, you go to the bar where the salsa is kept, add your toppings, and then you sit down to eat it. The atmosphere was wonderful, the people working there were wonderful, and the prices of the dishes on the menu were really reasonable. My favorite parts of the meal were the jamon, burrata, and plum nibble, the arugula with roasted tomatoes, the ceviche, the fried rice with shrimp, and the berry dessert.

Everything worked out well! Don’t pass up the wonderful bread that’s being served. I really wish that we had a pizza that utilized the same bread as our other pizzas.

The extensive selection of breads and pastries available for breakfast is another highlight, which should not come as a surprise considering that this establishment is owned and operated by the same company as the Rosetta restaurant.

The guava roll and the cardamom roll were each tasty in their own right. We had a couple different egg dishes, and then we went outdoors to chill. This is one of my most favorite spots! You should go see it because you won’t regret it!

A helpful hint is to arrive early on weekends since there is often a queue of people waiting to get inside.

Roma Norte Restaurants

This is one of my go-to eateries in Mexico City for having brunch with friends. Even if the cuisine isn’t very noteworthy, the fact that you will be dining at one of Enrique Olvera’s establishments makes the trip worthwhile.

They provide a wonderful breakfast spot, each item on the menu is mouthwatering, and the restaurant has a warm and inviting ambiance. I thought the drinks were produced to an incredibly high standard, the presentation was understated yet classy, and the experience as a whole was fantastic.

The fact that their cuisine is always deliciously fresh is perhaps their best-kept secret, but they also provide excellent service.

I had the most delicious huevos rancheros I’ve ever eaten in my life. The frijoles had a unique flavor of Hoja Santa, which gave them the flavor of authentic Mexican home cooking to the fullest extent possible. It brings such a smile on one’s face. Perfect for the crisp mornings that CDMX experiences throughout the autumn and winter.

In addition, it being the time of year for Pan de Muerto, so I paired a cookie biscuit with some pink guava atole that I had. Because the atole wasn’t as sweet as it normally is, the cookie biscuit helped up for the lack of sweetness.

For the huevos rancheros, I would very certainly come back. A unique take on a traditional dish that is really genuine. Give this establishment a go; you won’t be sorry you did!

The brunch at Peltre is always one of my top choices while I’m in CDMX. They provide a superb selection of traditional Mexican and Latin American food in Mexico City, and the prices are reasonable enough for everyone to afford it.

It is the kind of location that you can visit many times each month without tiring of the experience since it never ceases to be enjoyable.

This is one of my favorite places to have breakfast. You can tell it’s great just by looking at how packed it normally is. This cafe serves you coffee, tea, lattes, and a variety of other drinks in such a modern and endearing setting. The items on their morning menu might be eaten really quickly. I ordered the Enfrijoladas, along with a Chai latte made with almond milk.

The enchiladas were very delicious. It consists mostly of beans that have been mashed to a smooth consistency and spread over two corn tortillas, which are then stuffed with shredded chicken. It has crumbled cheese, avocado, and crème on top, with the crème being the finishing touch.

So, so delicious. And the almond milk chai latte is still very much on my mind as I think about it. This place had some of the most incredible and delectable meals and beverages I’ve ever experienced. It comes highly recommended from me!

This plant-based and vegan Asian restaurant in Mexico City boasts a wonderful environment, outstanding service, and a one-of-a-kind interior design. The restaurant serves only vegetarian and vegan fare.

In my view, this is one of the greatest restaurants in Mexico City that caters only to vegetarians. It has a wonderful ambiance, and the service is of the highest quality. If someone claimed that the meal lacked flavor or was tasteless, the person who made the complaint must have bought the incorrect goods.

I feel the need to point out that the summer rolls are tasteless. They have poor wrapping, are prone to falling apart, and call for an increase in sauciness.

The flavorless fresh vegetables that fall out of the wrap are not adequately compensated for by the sweet ponzu sauce, which does not have sufficient flavor. Simply said, you should not place that order. Get your hands on some crispy wontons instead.

They are so amazing that after you have finished eating them, you will immediately want to place another order. In addition to that, I tried both pad thai and pad see ew. I thought the pad see ew would be lacking in sauce, so I went ahead and added some extra, but the taste of the sauce was so good that I couldn’t get enough of it.

It was the best brownie I’ve ever tasted, regardless of whether or not it was vegan, and I had it for dessert along with some ice cream. Both the kratom-infused Mai Tai and the ginger kombucha that I ordered turned out to be rather tasty.

The meal that I sampled at this establishment is likely to satisfy everyone. In addition, the interior design of the restaurant is one of my favorites in this whole city. Try it out for yourself!

The restaurant Sartoria in Mexico City has been there for a very long time, and it has a library as well as a church.

The ceiling of the dining room is curved, which not only lends the area a sense of antiquity but also contributes to the room’s overall attractiveness as an inviting and cozy environment. This is also shown in a few of the murals that have been painted on the walls of this magnificent region.

Because the menu is updated according to the seasons, there are always new items to try. This restaurant serves a wide variety of dishes, from hand-made pastas and entrees, such as lacquered short ribs, to artisan cheese platters served with grapes and other fresh fruits and vegetables.

Both of our appetizers, the Panzanella and the Zucchini Carpaccio, were delectable. One of us started with the zucchini carpaccio. The main course consisted of short ribs and sea bass, and each of these dishes were delicious in their own right.

After dinner, we shared a dessert called “A Huevo,” which was shaped like an egg (thus the name) and had the flavor of paradise.

There were English menus available, and the wait staff was well-versed in the language even for those customers who could not speak Spanish. The service was attentive without being obtrusive. This was without a doubt one of the tastiest meals that we’ve eaten in a very long time.

Make it a point to get the three or four-course omakase pasta dish from their menu. We almost usually order the four-course meal, which consists of four half servings of the chef’s choice of the finest handmade pastas available on that particular day. It ranks up there as one of my top dining experiences in Mexico City.

Because of its restricted size and the fact that everyone inside is having a good time, peak hours at Sartoria are not exactly conducive to discussion. This is not to say that this is a “negative” thing; rather, it is something to take into consideration. On the other hand, yelling is a very little sacrifice to make in exchange for quality.

There is no shadow of a doubt that the time you spend here will be time well spent.

When in Mexico City, this restaurant is the place to go to satisfy your need for contemporary cuisine. Each dish is packed with a variety of colors, smells, tastes, and sights that will tease your taste senses while simultaneously testing your ability to exercise restraint.

Don’t freak out over it! In addition to that, the cuisine is really healthy. You will be able to sample more food if you take other people there, and your friends will be grateful to you for introducing them to the restaurant.

The tastes were mouthwateringly good. I sampled some of the foie gras, which was both refined and scrumptious. The Jerk Pork Chop had a delicious taste that was true to its Caribbean roots; the meat was cooked well and had a decent marbling of fat throughout. Both the selection of tequila and the quality of the service were outstanding.

This place is quite beautiful, and you should definitely pay it a visit if you have the chance.

Another location where you’ll want to make a reservation in advance is this one.

Soul La Roma

Soul Discovering La Roma was a stroke of luck! It appears to be frequented by a large number of locals and has the same inviting, laid-back, and hip attitude that characterizes La Roma.

It is on par with other hip restaurants in Mexico City in terms of its décor, which has a mix of modern and vintage elements such as comfortable couches and rustic tables that give the impression of having been created.

Even more impressive was the menu, which had options to suit everyone’s tastes. I have no choice but to acknowledge that it has to be considered one of the top burgers in Mexico City. Both the ribeye Philly cheese steak and the Sauber burger were on their order of preference from the menu. Delicious.

Give it a go if you’re looking for a laid-back setting with amazing cuisine.

Wabi Sushi

If you are looking for a supper that will blow your mind in Mexico, Wabi Sushi is the restaurant you should visit. Not only is the quality of their food exceptional, but it also comes at a price that is affordable and is authentic Japanese cuisine.

The restaurant is stunning, with exposed ceiling beams and a wood table that measures three feet in length and wraps around the room. We remained inside, where there is modest Asian art on the concrete walls, despite the fact that they had outside seating available; however, it rained that night, so we had to stay inside. The sake makes one’s mouth wet.

The descriptions provided by the staff of the various offers will encourage you to try each one. To sample, we were given an eel maki and a dumpling, both of which were presented on pottery colored blue and green, respectively.

The Spicy Korean Amberjack is what my companion got while I went with the Soft Shell Crab Tempura and another friend went with the Salmon Bowl. All of it is delicious. Fantastic meal, and I wholeheartedly suggest this exquisite sushi restaurant in Mexico City to anybody and everyone.

Delirio will appeal to both foodies and casual customers due to the restaurant’s design, which prioritized comfort and simplicity. It is possible to fit in with any crowd, and it is a place where you may dine with friends, family, or even by yourself if you so want.

This restaurant serves what I consider to be the greatest margarita in all of Mexico City, as well as what I consider to be one of the best margaritas I’ve ever experienced.

In addition to that, we had green chilaquiles topped with pig carnitas, which were fantastic and had the perfect amount of heat.

In addition, there were some delicious-looking sandwiches, pastries, and cheeses displayed on the counters. If you find yourself in Mexico City, you just must stop by this café at some point during your trip.

Lalo is a lovely café that has lots of seats outside in the fresh air with a varied menu. Crepes that are irresistible, superb breakfasts, exquisite wraps, and even handmade ice cream are some of the reasons why Mexicans make it a habit to visit Lalo on a daily basis.

This restaurant is notable not just for its excellent cuisine but also for the quality of its service. The staff here is usually kind and engaging in conversation, and they seem to be familiar with the names of everyone of the customers.

On the menu are items that are simple yet nonetheless quite tasty. I would suggest getting the corned beef sandwich with caramelized onions as well as the mozzarella and fig salad that we had. Both were delicious. In addition to being excellent, the handmade sodas are very refreshing, and the sangria has its own distinct flavor.

All things considered, a wonderful location to spend the weekend. You won’t regret giving it a try, I promise! Believe me.

Restaurante Rosetta

When in Mexico City, you absolutely must make a reservation at this restaurant. The atmosphere is exquisite, and the dishes that the meal is presented on are just as gorgeous. The service was far more impressive than the already impressive environment.

To get things off, we started off with some tequila and mezcal. Tequila 8 was something I had been looking for at other places, so you can imagine my surprise when I saw it on the menu here.

The other members of our party asked for mezcal, and the establishment provided a wonderful range, including an outstanding mezcal Negroni.

As the main course, we were served sweet potatoes topped with mushrooms, green tomatoes, melaza, eggplant stuffed with Ocosingo cheese, and melaza. We had tagliatelle with squid and ravioli with mushrooms for our main course of pasta. In addition to that, we had the chicatana with butter and the exceedingly peculiar rye bread.

Both the unique beef with an unlisted sauce and the bass with a salt crust, herbs, and salicornia were served to us as the major portions of our meal. Every single dish that was served was exceptional and delicious.

If you want to have an incredible time while eating, I wholeheartedly suggest that you go to Restaurante Rosetta.

Panadería Rosetta

This restaurant is really wonderful! Due to the limited space, finding a seat along the charming bar area that is stocked to the brim with baked products will be quite difficult.

We started out with almond croissants, then moved on to a sandwich with pesto, cheese, and ham, and finished with two lattes. These were without a doubt the most delicious croissants we’ve ever had.

I really enjoyed the handmade sandwich that was created using bread that had just been cooked. Because the milk was beaten beforehand, the lattes had a lot of froth and a rich flavor.

Because of its popularity, it may be crowded at times; nevertheless, you should not let this unnerve you. The transaction process at the takeout counter is moving quite quickly, and a good number of the people waiting outside have already made their orders and are awaiting their beverages and meals.

To sum it all up, this location is wonderful, and it would be a mistake to pass up the opportunity to spend the morning here.

Kiin Thai-Viet

Kiin is another another exceptional Asian dining establishment found in Mexico City. After eating Mexican cuisine, one of my favorite things to do in Mexico City is to go to an Asian restaurant since the Asian restaurants here are superior to those in most other cities.

This eatery stands out from the competition because to its stunning terrace. It is a really cozy and calm place, with high ceilings, plants, and wooden walls; hence, it is perfect for reclining while having a delicious meal.

A greater variety of noodle meals, such as Pho and Vietnamese noodle soup, are available to choose from on this enticing menu.

We started out with samosas, which are potato dumplings packed with Kari curry that has a mild and aromatic taste. Because they were so delicious, we nearly decided to have just them for supper instead of anything else.

After that, I went ahead and got the Pho Beef soup, and it was out of this world. Because the meat and its bones had been cooked for such a long time, the ultimate result was flavorful and fragrant. I drank everything in this bowl because it was so delicious and I couldn’t stop eating it!

In addition to that, we all split some chicken wings doused in tamarind sauce. Not to mention the location of our tap tip krob restaurant, which name literally translates to “crispy ruby” owing to the dish’s look.

It is a water chestnut that has been fried to a crisp and then covered in a thin layer of flour before being served chilled in a light and creamy coconut drinking juice.

Kiin is an excellent restaurant that serves both Thai and Vietnamese cuisine, and it is a great location to go if you have a hankering for any of those types of food.

La Docena

This is one of the best seafood restaurants in all of Mexico City! Every time I’ve gone there, the venue has been quite crowded, and the energy in the air has been electric.

On the menu you may get some excellent Aguachile Tatemado as well as authentic Colombian Chicharrón. The tortillas were made by hand, and they tasted wonderful.

Their cocktails are incredibly tasty, so if you go there, you should just have one of them instead of anything else. This is one of the best restaurants in Mexico City for seafood, in my opinion.

It always appears like their seafood is really fresh and delicious. The quality of the service was quite high. Although the restaurant is a little on the pricey side, it is well worth the money.

Madre Café

If you are looking for a charming place to stay in the heart of a vibrant and ancient city, you have come to the right place. The Madre Café is a charming venue that is located in an ancient home that has been renovated and has a magnificent patio.

We began with some amazing smoked beet salad, filled zucchini blossoms, and smoked salmon to kick off the meal. Their cuisine had fantastic tastes, especially the bread, which was delicious. The next course was the onion soup, which had a pleasant flavor enhanced by the addition of wine.

The truffle flavor added a delicious twist to the mac and cheese, but, truth be told, we needed to ask for a little bit extra truffle oil. After then, the mac became an exciting new experience.

The burger, which had rib-eye meat and onions that had been caramelized, was out of this world. French fries that were just cooked and had the ideal amount of crispness.

And the vacio, which is a tender cut of pork that is smoked and cooked over hardwood and then combined with very fresh creamed spinach and fresh spinach leaves.

Try your hand at making a handmade lemon tart and topping it with fresh meringue for dessert! It is imperative that you taste Manchego cheese served with tomato and fig marmalade. The opera cake was likewise a treat to eat with your bite.

This is the ideal position on the roof, whether you’re looking for a quick bite to eat in the morning or a refreshing beverage in the afternoon. Don’t be afraid to give it a go; it won’t hurt!

Yoru Handroll and Sushi Bar

This is without a doubt the greatest sushi experience you will have in Mexico City; they serve fantastic wines, exquisite seafood, and provide service that is kind, relaxed, and enjoyable. Due to the confines of this space, it is strongly suggested that you make a reservation.

The meal was very delicious. This restaurant satisfied my insatiable need for authentic Japanese food, for which I traveled a great distance.

Be sure to get some of the restaurant’s amazing nigiri and platters when you go there. Everything was delicious, and it was all really fresh. It was a lot of fun for me!

The personnel is really kind and welcoming, and they quickly put you at ease. They make sure you understand all you need to before you place your purchase.

Overall, a dining experience that comes highly recommended, with a pleasant ambiance and located in Mexico City’s most fashionable district.

Hipódromo Restaurants

The brunch at Freims is excellent, and the restaurant has a lovely garden and terrace. It is not extremely trendy or loud, which contributes to its wonderful and romantic atmosphere. Both the meal and the drinks are wonderful, and the service is kind and welcoming.

People who are looking for a fantastic brunch before or after shopping at local businesses and markets will find Freims to be an excellent option.

The Burger Master 19’s spicy mayo was hands down my favorite component of the burger. The patties had a wonderful texture and color, but I felt that they might have benefited from a little bit more seasoning. However, on the whole, it was fantastic!

Even though I had a good time eating it, I have seen many other delicious-looking items on the menu here, and if I were to come back, I think I would try something else on the menu rather than the burger.

If you know Spanish, you may find the restaurant’s little bookshelf to be a fascinating addition to your experience there. This is a great spot to get a bite to eat in the morning, and the ambiance is warm and inviting. You just can’t pass it up!

Lunch is served very well at Milo’s, which is located in Mexico City. This location has a really good and welcoming environment, as well as a contemporary interior design, and it is situated on a wonderful property with a significant amount of greenery.

They made us feel like members of their own family and served us some of the most flavorful cuisine I’ve had on any of my trips to Mexico City. Dark Bohemia beer, roasted cauliflower topped with parmesan cheese, an appetizing beet salad, and aquachile scallops are on the menu.

Everything went off without a hitch. During the course of our vacation, we returned back for two more meals, and when we were leaving, the wait staff paused to say farewell to us. It was endearing and really pleasant.

Therefore, if you find yourself in the neighborhood, I can’t speak highly enough about Milo’s!

An excellent way to get the day started is by indulging in a delicious breakfast while watching La Condesa gradually come to life.

On the edges of Parque de Mexico can be found the time-honored restaurant known as the Maque Cafe. The waiters wear long-sleeved white shirts with light-brown aprons, while the waitresses wear blue house dresses that reach just above the ankles and have white aprons.

The soaring ceilings and ornate chandeliers are reminiscent of a bygone era that did not have central air conditioning, mobile phones, or television. Everything is in pristine condition.

We split an oreja de chocolate that was among the most delicious we’d ever had. It had a texture that was buttery, crunchy, but not too difficult, and it had a hint of chocolate flavoring. In addition, there was a ham and croissant sandwich on the table. The huevos rancheros came with spicy chorizo.

After a short time in the oven, the croissants were ready to be taken out. Everything was wonderful, and the entire cost was just $32, which included two good cups of coffee for each of us. The price was well worth it.

This establishment is a safe bet in every way. Make sure you get there early to ensure that you get a table outdoors with a view of the park!

Colonia Cuauhtémoc Restaurants

This charming little café is, without a shadow of a doubt, the most authentic French bistro in all of Mexico City. If you are someone who enjoys French cuisine, you should not let this opportunity pass you by since the food is so good.

They provide a vast variety of both freshly shucked oysters and other seafood as well as an excellent range of wines. Since Maximo’s Lalo is in charge of the kitchen and Gabriela is in charge of running the establishment, you can rest certain that you will get excellent service.

The inside of the home has an atmosphere that is reminiscent of contemporary France, and it is situated on a peaceful street in Colonia Juarez that is flanked with trees.

Our meal began with Escargots du Jour and Laitue, a rich and delectable salad that had fresh tarragon and was served as an appetizer. I decided to have the asparagus soup for my meal, and it was a hit with the rest of the table as well. It was the ideal representation of springtime.

The Poisson Veronique that my companion ordered was so delicious that I was left wishing that I had also chosen to have it. The crowning achievement, a Lemon Tart, was without a doubt the most delicious thing I’ve ever had.

It had a crust that was caramelized and a nice crispy bottom crust that was atop the lemon custard. If just to try this dessert again, I would go all the way back to Mexico City. You really must pay a visit to this site!

Tamales Madre

The custom of eating tamales first thing in the morning in Mexico City is best experienced at Tamales Madre, a casual and cozy eatery.

The eatery provides variants ranging from savory to sweet that are wrapped in either banana leaf or corn husk. However, all of them are created using organic heritage corn, ingredients that are obtained locally, and vegetable shortening rather than lard in order to make them healthier and more suitable for vegetarians.

Don’t forget to order the house speciality, a bean and hoja santa tamale with a delicately aromatic tomato sauce, and complement it with atole prepared with seasonal fruit and nixtamalized masa. These two dishes are the restaurant’s claim to fame.

If you choose to spend your morning indulging in some of the most delicious tamales in Mexico City, you will not come to regret your decision.

Masala y Maíz

As the name suggests, the Indian and Mexican cuisine served at Masala & Maiz is a magnificent and one-of-a-kind combination of the two cuisines. You’ll discover a natural mixing of cultures and feelings here, which, when put together, create something that’s both new and captivating.

We had a wonderful time spending the afternoon savoring a half-dozen of the establishment’s masterpieces and natural wine choices in the inviting and communal atmosphere provided by the enormous communal tables.

Their recipes might be difficult to eat since they represent unusual and unexpected flavor combinations, but they always reward with inventiveness and joy.

According to one of the sous chefs, the Samosas de Temporada are served with a stunning sauce that is “made from poppy seeds, curry spices, carrots, and God knows what else.”

The amazing Camarones de Pa’ Pelar are prepared by first marinating them in Grandma’s chili and herb combination, which is kept a secret, and then cooking them in the mixture.

The chicken used to make Pollo Frito is first marinated in yogurt for a whole night. The next day, it is breaded in chickpea flour and then fried in coconut oil. Both a herb chutney and a sweet and sour macha chili jam accompany it when it is served.

Additionally, Chef Saqib is known for promoting a diverse selection of “natural” wines, many of which come from vineyards owned by personal acquaintances in countries such as France, Italy, and California.

The assistance that was provided was very professional, kind, and pleasant. Masala & Maiz is an absolute must-visit for anybody traveling to Mexico City in search of delicious gastronomic experiences.

Café Nin

This is definitely one of the best places to have brunch in Mexico City. An old brick structure serves as the location of Cafe Nin, which has a calming and unpretentious atmosphere. In my opinion, this is a wonderful location to stop by and take in all the gorgeous things it has to offer.

There is a wide variety of pastries available, each of which is tasty and of excellent quality. Pastries and eggs were what we ordered for breakfast, and I highly suggest the scrambled eggs with chorizo since they were delicious, well cooked, and had a wonderful taste.

The pastries are the primary draw, and it’s almost impossible to go in and not order more than one. We had an almond croissant, which did not disappoint, but I really urge you to try the guava roll instead. It is a beautiful secret weapon, and I guarantee you will come back for it.

Diego is a trained host who is as enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the local cuisine and beverage scene as he is about the city itself. Nin is a precious jewel to have.

If you want breakfast, you should be there as early as possible since the lines may get extremely long before 9:30 in the morning.

On the menu, you’ll find Mexican cuisine that are made fresh every day using seasonal ingredients and regionally inspired tastes.

In addition to their great white beans, the nice atmosphere, and the superb service, the Farolitos de Pastor served on Arabic bread are pretty delectable, golden brown, and delightful.

Additionally, be sure to get the Bistek Con Queso because it is incredible. Give it a go; you won’t regret it, and neither will your taste buds.

Limosneros is a rare and great discovery. I was fortunate enough to try out some of Mexico’s world-class cuisine during my time there. The meals had a one-of-a-kind flavor that could only be described as “dead and gone to heaven” delicious. Both the staff and the service were welcoming and focused on the needs of the customers.

A memorable and enjoyable dining experience was created for us by our server and his colleagues. We decided to have a variety of the chef’s signature specialties served on tiny plates.

The outstanding fish and corn soup, the chorizo balls, the fried beef doughnut with chili sauce, and the exquisite crème Brule with lemon gelato to round off the meal are some of my personal faves at this restaurant.

Our meal was nothing short of outstanding, particularly when it was complemented with a bottle of red wine from Spain and some espresso to round things off.

Limosneros, in my opinion, is leading the effort to show that the cuisine in Mexico City lives up to the high praise that it receives from visitors. It is definitely worth the money if you have a few hours to spare and are looking for a supper that will stick with you.

I heard that Cancino Havre was one of the most well-known Mexican restaurants in Mexico City, so I made it a point to visit the establishment and find out what makes it stand out from the other Mexican restaurants in the city. The atmosphere at Cancino Havre is wonderful, and the quality of the cuisine served there is much higher.

The atmosphere, particularly the music, the artwork on the walls, the color scheme, the relative peace and quiet, the opportunity to see the pizza being made, and the aroma!

Their salad was fantastic, fresh, and full of inventive ingredients, and their pizza was delicious and baked from scratch. That’s a winning mix right there!

It looked that their cocktail menu was chic, unique, and on the cutting edge of current trends. Given that it was still early in the day, I didn’t feel like having a drink even though I was inclined to do so. Without a doubt, we will be back!

I get a thrill out of unearthing a hidden treasure that has been so well planned and put together, and I am pleased by the company’s whole brand, which includes other locations as well. It is unequivocally recommended that you should check it out!

I recommend the Gin and Basil drink, the cappuccino, and the chilaquiles with chicken for breakfast if you are in the mood for a beverage. If you are in the mood for morning food, I recommend the chilaquiles with chicken. So tasty!

Boicot is an excellent spot to go if you are new to Mexico City and want to sample some delicious cuisine and coffee for the first time. This coffee shop has sitting both within the main room and outside on the terrace.

The mood is laid back here, with tables crammed in close proximity to one another as other patrons go about their business outdoors.

A mocha was what my companion ordered, and she told me that it had a hint of cinnamon and was made with Mexican chocolate.

I made the decision to buy a lemon cake, which turned out to be really tasty, and the lemon icing turned out to be rather tasty and sweet. I got an oatmeal latte to go along with my dessert that I ordered. It was just wonderful to me!

It is without a doubt a great environment to unwind in while indulging in some delicious cuisine and coffee.
