If there is one thing you should know about me, it is that I ate a lot of spaghetti when living in New York City. The range of alternatives provided by the city’s outstanding eateries makes it tough to become bored.

I’ve produced a list of five eateries with superb pasta from Brooklyn to Manhattan to Long Island. Of course, there are plenty more excellent options, but these are the ones I believe you should try if you’re in the mood for some pasta.

The Finest Spaghetti in New York

The Louise Pasta

Pasta Louise in Park Slope, Brooklyn, offers the greatest pasta in the city. This eatery is distinctive because its chef picks a new pasta form every day. Diners may also choose from a variety of add-ons (for an additional charge). Burrata is my go-to spaghetti topping. Calabrian chilies, roasted Cannellini beans, spicy crispy prosciutto, house-made whipped ricotta, arugula, or breadcrumbs may all be added.

Also, all meals may be cooked with fresh gluten-free pasta. Pasta Louise offers numerous pasta dishes, including their top seller Cacio E Pepe, which comprises of cracked black pepper and salty pecorino and is also my favorite dish on the menu. Another noteworthy dish is Louises Lasagna. It’s layered with fresh mozzarella, heirloom tomatoes, basil, and thin fresh pasta sheets. It is crucial to remember, however, that the lasagna is only available for supper.

If you’re in the mood for some red sauce, try Dad’s Famous Red Pepper Sauce. With roasted peppers, smoky paprika, and roasted garlic, this sauce is bright and creamy. Pasta Louise’s newest location is at 1114 8th Avenue in Brooklyn, but they also have a smaller shop at 803 8th Avenue where you can pick up fresh pasta, sauce, and coffee. If you want to eat at the sit-down restaurant, make a reservation in advance since slots tend to fill up fast. Walk-ins are welcome at the eatery (if time and tables allow).

But, if they have the table reserved for a future reservation, there may be a time restriction on your table. Apart from the delicious pasta, the new 8th Avenue restaurant’s design is lovely, with all of its flowers and wonderful lighting. This restaurant is massive and has numerous tables, which is ideal if you’re planning on eating with a big group.

Pasta-Eria

Pasta-Eria serves some of the greatest spaghetti in New York City. Pasta-Eria is well-known for both its traditional and unique pasta dishes. Handmade Rigatoni Allamamma with tomato sauce, homemade ricotta, meatballs (2), virgin olio de oliva drizzle and basil, and Cheese Ravioli are just a few of the traditional pasta dishes available.

When I dined here, I chose the Rigatoni Theresa, which is a pink tomato cream sauce mixed with rigatoni and topped with chicken, spinach, and mozzarella. If you want meat, try the Pasta Emilio, which is a light pink cream sauce over spaghetti with a mellow blend of sausage, shrimp, and ham, scallions, and chopped tomato.

I suggest reserving the complementary bread your waitress will bring to your table at the start of your dinner to dip in the excellent spaghetti sauce. The servings are on the bigger side. I enjoy this because not only do I feel like I’m getting fantastic cuisine at a good price, but I also know that anytime I dine here, I’ll have leftovers for the following day’s dinner.

This restaurant may become packed at times, particularly around supper or on weekends, so keep that in mind if you intend to dine here. While this restaurant is roughly a 45-minute train journey from Manhattan, it is well worth the trip for the great pasta dishes and excellent service.

Ginos

Ginos in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, is an underestimated but excellent Italian restaurant that serves a variety of pasta dishes such as Penne Vodka, Bowtie with sweet peas, shiitake mushrooms, and grilled shrimp, and Rigatoni with fresh mozzarella, tomato, and basil. Is it the finest spaghetti in New York? Let us investigate.

Rigatoni with grilled chicken and peas in vodka sauce is my favorite meal on the menu. I had never eaten peas with pasta before, but it is a flavor combination I am pleased I tried. Ginos’s ambience is quite lovely, and the personnel are courteous and efficient, in addition to the delicious pasta. Ginos is unusual in that it offers a family-style menu for in-restaurant groups of 10-20 people. This four-course family-style meal costs $55.95 per person, minus tax and tip, and includes wine, beer, soda, coffee, and tea.

Although this is a four-course meal that includes appetizers, entrees, and dessert, there is a pasta option in which the party can select two pasta dishes from a menu that includes Penne Vodka, Rigatoni with Fresh Mozzarella, Tomato and Basil Penne with Marinara Sauce, Orecchiette with Broccoli Rabe and Sausage, Bowtie Pasta with Broccoli in White Broth, and Rigatoni with Italian Eggplant and Sausage.

Ginos allows bookings for both inside and outdoor eating, so specify which you prefer when making a reservation.

Bianca Pecora

When I noticed La Pecora Bianca gaining traction on social media, I knew I had to go check it out and see whether it was worth the buzz. This restaurant did not disappoint. It boasts the greatest spaghetti in New York. From the minute I checked in until the moment I checked out, I had a nice experience. My waitress was attentive and made some excellent meal suggestions. La Pecora Bianca has locations in SoHo, NoMad, Midtown, Bryant Park, Meatpacking District, and the Upper West Side.

All of their pastas are prepared in-house, and gluten-free spaghetti is available on request, which is convenient for individuals with dietary concerns. I had the Bucatini pasta with Cacio e Pepe when I dined here. I did not add burrata to my plate, but it is available as an add-on for pasta orders for an extra $6.

Additional pasta options include the Gramigna, which has curly pasta, house-made sausage, broccolini, and chili flakes, and the Linguine Nere, which includes squid ink pasta, shrimp, tomato, fennel, and Calabrian chili. If you want something basic, I suggest the Spaghetti with Pomodoro sauce and basil. Apart from the great pasta, the lively environment of this restaurant was attractive and trendy, especially though I sat in the outside dining area rather than the indoors. This eatery provides an excellent backdrop for some charming social media images.

Perry’s Club

The Perry Club is an Italian restaurant in New York’s West Village. This restaurant is notable for its use of only fresh ingredients, and its pastas are prepared fresh everyday in their open pasta kitchen. Here’s why it offers the greatest spaghetti in New York City.

This eatery makes ordering pasta a breeze. To begin, choose your hand-crafted pasta from Bucatini, Mezzi rigatoni, Treccioni, or gluten-free pasta for an extra $2. Then you may choose for a homemade sauce. Traditional Pomodoro, A La Vodka, Pesto, Bolognese With Sausage, Broccoli Rabe with Grape Tomato, and Butternut Squash are all options. To name a few, Meatball Bucatini, which consists of a cheese filled meatball and bucatini with traditional Pomodoro sauce, and Campanelle Carbonara, which is served with a fried egg and smoky bacon, are two of Hudson’s favorite meals.

I had the Bucatini with the typical Pomodoro sauce when I dined here and enjoyed every bite. When I dined at this restaurant, the indoor section was unavailable, so I was allowed to eat outdoors, which was extremely wonderful (despite the fact that it was very hot outside) since it was the day of the NYC Pride Parade. This restaurant’s personnel was quite pleasant, and the service was superb. Our waitress made certain that we had enough of water and that our dinner was great.

If you want to dine at this restaurant, I strongly advise you to make a reservation so that you can guarantee a table. This restaurant is well-known for their Cheesy Meatballs, which were featured on ABC’s Shark Tank. These are mozzarella-stuffed cheesy meatballs. I tried them and truly enjoyed them, despite the fact that I could only have one. This was my first experience with a meatball packed with mozzarella. I will most certainly return to this place for more. While they are more expensive, it is worthwhile to try them at least once. It boasts the greatest spaghetti in New York.
