Taco Joint
If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know that I’m always looking for delicious Mexican cuisine in Southeast Asia. My hunger is certainly satisfied by Taco Corner. The little eatery is a popular on the island and may become fairly full at times.
The Pirate Beach Club –
Le Pirate Beach Club, located on the calmer side of the island, is the ideal spot to spend the day. The club includes a private beach as well as an infinity pool where you may spend the day tanning. When it comes time to dine, the club boasts an amazing menu that is made even more spectacular by the fact that the staff will transport your selections directly to your sun bed.
Vintage House-
When I began sharing photos from Gili T on social media, many individuals contacted me to inform me that I had to try Casa Vintage on my visit. I’m pleased I listened to their advice since this restaurant did not disappoint. The staff is quite polite and helpful, and they were glad to walk me through their full menu while I attempted to make a decision.
Restaurant and Lounge Diversia-
Diversia was a nice surprise, since you may not expect a restaurant linked to a diving shop to make a list of the greatest places to dine. Every day, I went by the Italian-style restaurant, and the menu seemed appealing. I eventually decided to pay a visit, and I’m pleased I did.
Evening Market-
The night market is essential to any list of places to dine on Gili Trawangan. Every evening, merchants come and set up their booths, where they begin to prepare fresh choices of local dishes. Anything from basic noodle and rice meals to entire lobsters cooked to order, as well as freshly baked cakes and pastries, may be found here. The night market is also fantastic, since it seems like practically everyone on the island comes here every night. As a result, it’s a fantastic opportunity to catch up with friends or meet new tourists.
The Roastery-
The Roast House, my personal favorite, was the greatest dinner I had on the island. In fact, both times I attended, it was the finest lunch I’d ever eaten! In Southeast Asia, you could receive a good version of what you want at best. I didn’t realize how much I missed gravy until I experienced it at the Roast House. The roast chicken was cooked to perfection, soft and moist. The veggies were flavorful and not overdone. And the gravy was just as excellent as any my mother makes (don’t tell her I said that!).
And, for a restaurant called The Roast House, they create an amazing salad. This grilled tuna salad was the ideal light lunch for our day at the beach:
