Jackson MS’s Top 6 Seafood Restaurants

Seafood Restaurant Dragos

Dragos Seafood Restaurant serves authentic charbroiled oysters. Jackson gets a taste of New Orleans thanks to the eatery.

Dragos Mixed Grill, Herradura Shrimp or Oysters, Boudin Stuffed Shrimp, Grilled Shrimp Pasta, Seafood Pasta, and Pasta Jambalaya are all on the menu.

The servings are big and the price is definitely worth it. Bring your appetite, since there will be leftovers.

Fried Shrimp, Fried Catfish, Alfredo Spaghetti, hamburgers, and Grilled Chicken Fingers are available on the restaurant’s children’s menu. You should also try their Charbroiled Lobster, which is a Maine lobster coupled with potatoes and charbroiled in garlic butter. Dragos Seafood Restaurant offers vegetarian and gluten-free menu alternatives.

The Boudin Stuffed Shrimp, including large Gulf shrimp cooked with a fiery Cajun sausage and corn choux, was my choice. The stuffing was delicious. It has a brown gravy foundation and is served with meat and rice.

The corn was spicy, giving it a kick. I also ate the sautéed fresh spinach. That was fantastic. For the first time, I tasted liquid marijuana and thought it was fantastic. If you want variety and high quality, this is one of the greatest seafood restaurants in Jackson Mississippi.

The Mayflower Café

Since its inception in 1935, the Mayflower Caf has been associated with excellent taste and a good time in Jackson, Mississippi.

The traditional, Greek-inspired seafood and steak dish has been handed down from generation to generation via the Kountouris family as the capital city’s longest-running restaurant.

The Crab Cakes, Grilled Chicken Sandwich, and Mayflower Club were ordered. Both the Club and the Sandwich with Potato Salad were wonderful and fresh.

The Crab Cakes, on the other hand, were delicious. Extremely unique and unlike anything else. They’re little and covered with chopped tomatoes and onions, but the sauce is what makes them so tasty. You should try this if you like crab.

Overall, this lovely business provides superb service, food, and ambiance. This is a must-see if you like classic eateries.

The Red Lobster

Reb Lobster is a Jackson, Mississippi restaurant featuring wonderful cuisine, excellent service, a lovely ambience, fair rates, and comfortable booth seating. It is a wonderful experience even at places that do not supply any of these services. And I assure you that the meal will satisfy your every need.

We were seated quickly, but we took our time looking about the restaurant. Everything was pristine, and the mood was cheerful. The staff were all kind and smiling as they welcomed us.

Our drink orders were quickly taken as we were seated, and our waitress informed us of the deals. She knew all there was to know about fresh fish meals. Of course, the meal was amazing, and since we had selected the Endless Shrimp, we were constantly served to.

Of the several items I tasted, my favorites were the shrimp scampi and the new grilled shrimp. The shrimp were fresh and lightly seasoned with just the right amount of garlic, and it was endless.

After lunch, I examined the bathroom and found it to be spotless. This was a fantastic dinner experience for me.

Thus, if you want to have lunch or supper with friends or family, just head to Red Lobster in Jackson, Mississippi.

The Crawdad Hole

Crawdad Hole is a wonderful spot to enjoy a variety of Southern seafood delicacies in the greater Jackson region. The wait crew and other personnel provide the greatest service in town.

A true Mississippi experience! You have not been accepted by the city until you have visited the Crawdad Hole for Southern crawfish. Everything has been concentrated into a single boil. I had no idea how easy it is to ignore it.

A pound of crawdads with corn, sausage, and potatoes was my order. If you want more sausage than corn or potatoes, each additional is charged individually. This was much superior than just receiving whatever they threw in the bag.

The crawdads were delightfully seasoned, and even though the extras had not been cooked, they were great once cut up and combined in with the crawdads. Crab and shrimp are also on the menu.

The absolutely sweet and warm lady at the window welcomed me to Mississippi. Southern hospitality, wonderful cuisine, and simplicity; everything you’d expect from any of Jackson’s seafood restaurants.

Jackson, Breaux Bridge

Ridgewood Ct. Dr., Jackson, Mississippi 39211, United States +160166541996376

Seafood is one of the world’s most delicious foods. It’s also one of my favorites. Few things are more palatable than freshly caught, high-quality fish.

This is why I was excited to visit Juicy Seafood (Jackson), not just because of their fantastic seafood selection and great reviews from Jackson locals, but also because of their commitment to offering the freshest seafood in the region. It’s no surprise that it made the list of the finest seafood restaurants in Jackson, Mississippi.

I ordered a pound of shrimp with andouille (sausage) and got the somewhat spicy kickin flavor. On my visit, I also ordered a half-pound of shrimp and snow crab legs. These were just the right amount of spice and salt.

The steamed oysters with their own sauce are also delicious. While I’ve had worse, the raw wasn’t bad.

Finally, I had a terrific lunch at a fantastic new restaurant off County Line Road. The staff was amazing, and the atmosphere was fantastic!

Restaurant Saltine

+16019822899622 Duling Avenue, Jackson, Mississippi 39216, USA

Saltine Restaurant is a sophisticated oyster bar that specializes in Southern cuisine, with an emphasis on fresh seafood and in-season vegetables. There is also a large beer selection, with over 30 craft beer faucets around the restaurant, as well as rums and creative cocktails. It is without a doubt one of the top seafood restaurants in Jackson, Mississippi.

It’s a terrific local eatery for a relaxed family dinner. The kids menu includes grilled cheese, grilled ham and cheese, chicken strips, fried shrimp, and fried catfish strips.

Oysters from the Gulf of Mexico, the east and west coasts, and Canada are available raw, smoked, wood-fired, and fried. For luncheons, meetings, parties, and small celebrations, their private dining area can seat up to 20 people.

Every day, save Saturday and Sunday, breakfast, lunch, and supper are offered. Saltine Restaurant also provides full-service catering for parties of any size.

Their calamari was some of the best we’d ever had, and the tangy sauce on top was just perfect. My companion got the beer battered catfish and fries, while we had the cornmeal version.

Although the cornmeal was delicious, the beer batter was out of this world! The fries were OK, but the hush puppies more than compensated.

The service was excellent! Despite the fact that they were really busy, our waitress checked on us often and kept our drinks replenished. One of Jackson’s best seafood eateries!
