Keller was founded as part of the Peters Colony in the 1840s by Missouri families who homesteaded at the headwaters of Big Bear Creek. The town was named for John C. Keller, a railroad foreman, when Keller became a station on the Texas Pacific Railway, which ran north from Fort Worth to Texarkana. Keller thrived as a rural village in its early years.

Keller, which is mostly residential, has about 300 acres of parks and over 26 miles of hiking and bicycling paths. Keller was named one of the top ten best places to live in the United States by Money Magazine in 2009.

Keller Town Center’s Boca 31

Boca 31, a combination of Mexican, Caribbean, and Peruvian foods, is home to famous Latin street food including tacos, empanadas, and sandwiches like the Peruvian, prepared with guajillo pork loin with grilled sweet potato.

Chef Andres’ culinary career includes stints at The Ritz Carlton at Half Moon Bay, Carnelian Room in San Francisco, DiLido Beach Club at the Ritz Carlton South Beach Hotel, and Restaurante Akelarre, a three-star Michelin restaurant in San Sebastian, Spain, to mention a few.

On a blackboard sign, you’ll find yucca fries, agas frescas, beer, and wine cocktails, as well as daily promotions.

I had the Peruvian Chicken Sandwich, which came with citrus onions and roasted sweet potatoes and was delivered with a side salad or fries.

I decided to try the Spinach Empanada, which was filled with spinach, goat cheese, and caramelized onions and topped with garlic crème.

Choose the pulled pork plantain tostadas with pinto beans, crema, spicy salsa, Roja cabbage, and queso for Taco Tuesday.

Marcello, my pleasant waiter, persuaded me to have a dessert empanada, the guava and cream cheese, a delicate combination of tastes that was not too sweet. Denton and Keller are the two locations.

Oliva Italian Restaurant

Oliva Italian Restaurant is an excellent restaurant. In fact, it is one of the neighborhood’s most popular eateries. They offer a fun environment, good cuisine, and fantastic service.

It’s the ideal spot for a fun evening out in town. This location is incredible and a hidden treasure.

The meal began with calamari and garlic toast. They both exceeded our expectations. The calamari was fresh, nicely cooked, and light. They cooked it gently, but it still turned out crispy. Incredible.

We sampled a couple of side salads before the main entrée. The salads were beautifully presented, and the tomato-vinaigrette dressing was delectable. Their croutons, I suppose, were made from scratch. The Caesar salad was so good that we could have eaten a whole bucket of it.

Our entrees were lasagna, chicken parmigiana, shrimp scampi, and ravioli. The lasagna was perhaps the best I’d ever had in a restaurant. Everything is presented in ample portions. The chicken parm had a large portion of chicken.

Chocolate Custard, on the other hand, is a must-try dessert. To put it another way, it’s paradise on Earth. To be honest, I scraped the dish clean!

If you’re looking for something new to try, this spot is likely to become a favorite.

Maria Cucas Mexican Food

María Cucas is a large cantina with exposed brick walls that serves traditional family recipes honed over decades, as well as creative margaritas.

Try the guacamole made fresh at your table, as well as nachos, quesadillas, stuffed jalapenos, burritos, or the Cucas Platter, which includes a stuffed pepper, bean nachos, chicken and beef flautas, fried burrito, cheese quesadilla, guacamole, sour cream, and chili con queso. DeVivo Bros. Restaurant

John and Ralph Devivo, enthusiasts since boyhood, deliver the freshest cuisine from the freshest ingredients; everything is created from scratch at this locally owned and run American and Italian comfort food cafe.

Being from an Italian family and background, the brothers share a motto: When you cook for someone, you are giving them a gift; a gift that you took the time to cultivate or discover, prepare, and deliver correctly. With over fifty years in the restaurant industry, the brothers live up to this slogan on a daily basis, with rustic Italian cooking, home baked products, a lovely location, outside patio dining, and warm, friendly service.

With raw wood, black tablecloths, and wine glasses, the decor is rustic yet sophisticated. Bring your own bottle of wine; they’ll provide wine glasses, an opener, and a way to keep it refrigerated.

Order from the counter, which is stocked with a choice of enticing three-layer cakes, brownies, and cookies, obtain your number, sit down, and your handcrafted food will be served to your table immediately.

I order the Stuffed Mushrooms every time I go because it’s the sort of meal that warms the soul. The handmade aromas in the wine sauce complement the spicy sausage stuffing well.

On one occasion, I had the Calamari with marinara sauce heaped high on a dinner plate, and the Meatballs as an appetizer on another. My spouse gets the Chicken Fried Chicken with mashed potatoes and fresh green peas on a regular basis.

Kevin and Josi Klingele look forward to making breakfast all about you at Seven Mile Caf, named after their favorite beach on their wedding trip and open for breakfast and lunch seven days a week.

Its inventive breakfast and lunch menu includes a Southern-style breakfast, an expresso bar, and gluten-free and vegan alternatives.

I got the California Benny eggs benedict with bacon and avocado on a toasted biscuit with creamy hollandaise sauce, and I substituted a side of fruit for the hash browns. As asked, the eggs were cooked wonderfully firm.

My husband ordered the Gravy Train, which included biscuits and gravy, two fried eggs, and hash browns.

We purchased a bag of Stumptown Coffee Roasters El Injerto Bourbon, which has aromas of orange blossom, honey, and fresh butter. It has the flavor of a highland dawn.

They also have branches in Denton, Fort Worth, and Highland Village. If you’re searching for a Keller restaurant, this is one to check out.

FnG Foods

Meet Chefs Carlos Flaco Arevalo and Bob Gordo of Restaurant Falco n Gordo, often known as FnG Eats. This premium casual restaurant and bar serves inventive American cuisine from local merchants and the Keller Farmers Market. Brunch, lunch, supper, and everything in between are available, and you are always welcome.

Experience small appetizers like deviled eggs or Keller flatbreads, weekly specialties from chefs Carlos and Bob with fresh, seasonal, and twisted offerings; entrees ranging from smoked brisket cottage pie to freshwater fish, desserts, and seasonal inventive drinks for a delicious rollercoaster.

I had the Scottish Wild Fish, which was expertly cooked, flavored with saffron lemon butter, and garnished with greens. The delicate fish almost melted in my tongue. My husband chose the famed FnG Burger, which was cooked to order and served with crispy seasoned fries.

Following several years of working together at Caf Pacific in Las Colinas, the two chefs established their Own site and joined forces to provide a gourmet spin on your favorite meal.

For dessert, we had Arroz with Tres Leches, a rice pudding that was not too sweet and tasted like Mexican cake.

FnG Eats, a contemporary industrial-style open kitchen, also provides bespoke private dining choices combined with wines or inventive catering alternatives; a must-try Keller restaurant.

Dine-in, take-out, and Ubereats are all options.

The Forgotten Cajun

Jason Jay and Janice Smith are originally from South Louisiana and came to the DFW region soon after Hurricane Katrina. They founded The Lost Cajun with four priorities in mind: religion, family, friends, and, of course, cuisine.

The menu includes six typical Cajun dishes: seafood gumbo, chicken and sausage gumbo, red beans and rice, crawfish etouffee, lobster bisque, and jambalaya. Such a terrific idea to acquire a sample to help you decide.

For an appetizer, I had boudin balls, and for my main course, I had a shrimp po-boy with seafood gumbo.

Purple Haze, Turbodog, Wrought Iron IPA, Amber, Andygator, and Seasonal Harvest Brew are among the Louisiana Abita beers on the menu. Domestic beers, Dos Equis, and Shiner are available. Have Red or White Porch Wine, the sort you drink out of a box on the front porch with your mum.

If you’ve ever wanted to have a garden party but despised the clean-up, The Station is for you. The Station Patio Icehouse is a contemporary industrial environment with a lovely architectural style and a peaceful outside patio.

Rick Figueroa, the proprietor, has always wanted to provide an exciting experience. He established this bustling spot that draws people from all around and concentrates on offering live music, entertainment, refreshing beverages, and cuisine to the community.

Snacks, entrees, sandwiches, burgers, pizzas, soups, salads, wraps, desserts, drinks, beers, and wine are all available. Cheese sticks are a must-order item on their menu.

Rick’s smoked pork Cuban burger, Buffalo chicken sandwich, house salad, pepperoni pizza, and fudge brownie sundae. Don’t forget to drink the Irish Mule cocktail, which will change your life.

Each meal at the American steakhouse is made from scratch using farm-to-table cuisine and local fresh products. The proprietors done their homework, touring the Certified Angus Beef resource, visiting area farms, searching farmers markets, and sampling locally made beers.

Try the Korean BBQ Quail Knots with kimchi and togarashi as an appetizer, or the Shrimp Ceviche with house-made chicharrones. Choose a shaved Brussels sprout salad or, like me, begin with the Lobster Bisque, a creamy sherry-flavored soup topped with a huge portion of lobster claw flesh.

Choose the Sous-Vide Pheasant with Brussels sprouts, farro, and pumpkin as an entrée, or the Shrimp Fra Diavolo with U10 shrimp, capellini, garlic, tomato, Calabrian chile, and basil.

I requested the tiny filet, a 5 oz. with roasted Yukon potatoes and grilled asparagus, cooked perfectly medium, or the bone-in ribeye, a 22 oz. with twice baked potato gratin and charred asparagus, cooked flawlessly medium. Get a lobster tail or a side of lobster mac & cheese.
