Chef Kendall is a trained deep-sea scuba diver, and this is the basis for the restaurant’s motif. It’s a unique discovery among Nashville’s vegan eateries.

I’m not a vegan, but I’ve tried a lot of various vegan alternatives and restaurants, and Deep Sea Vegan serves the most fantastic and delicious fish sandwich I’ve ever had! It’s almost as good as the genuine thing!

The cornmeal batter is crisp, and the fish is flaky, light, and not at all greasy; the tastes and texture are spot on. And the best way to round off this dinner is to have a side of mashed potatoes, which are also quite tasty. This combination is perfect!

The menu may seem to be limited at first glance, but it certainly offers diversity and some genuinely high-quality items.

Yet, the rest of the menu is as delicious, and you can’t go wrong with anything.

My particular favorites are the coconut curry and the dosa, a flavor-packed meal!

So don’t be concerned; everything is composed of plants!

If you like southern American food, you’ll love the Fried Hot Chickn Sandwich and their excellent handmade lemonades!

The sandwich was so thick and tasty that you forgot you weren’t eating real chicken. It has just the right amount of flavorful spiciness in a sauce, and the vegan chicken is crispy and crunchy!
