Downtown Santa Rosa is a vibrant area. Courthouse Square is bordered by bustling businesses and residential areas. In the past two years, there has been an influx of new urban hotels and restaurants. On Wednesday evenings, a massive Farmers Market occupies blocks. There are museums, gardens, theaters, breweries, vineyards, restaurants, shopping, and many forms of entertainment all within a short walk. Of course, there are all of the fantastic eateries in downtown Santa Rosa!
Santa Rosa is recovering from the destruction caused by the California wildfires. The residents of this stubborn town have thrived in the past two years as they have rebuilt and reimagined what was left in ashes. Although many towns have experienced restaurant closures, Santa Rosa has added 21 new restaurants in the previous two years.
Take a journey to downtown Santa Rosa and sample one of these ten restaurants. Some are very new, while others have been there since 1952. Spend a night or two on a downtown food crawl.
