Are you seeking for the greatest Concord, California restaurants? Then you’ve arrived to the correct location!
First and foremost, I had never considered visiting Concord, California. I was fascinated enough by a talk with Visit Concord personnel at a conference to begin organizing a road trip there, 450 miles from Palm Springs. The next thing I knew, I’d be spending three days in this town, which was 46 miles from Napa Valley and 32 miles from San Francisco. I had no expectations and opted to let the journey take its course.
Since the road journey took us up Highway 5, where there are few options for food, I packed my lunch in a cooler. When I type this, I grin since my mother used to prepare egg salad sandwiches for our first meal when I was a kid. She was fussy, insisting on celery rather than pickles for crunch. Who am I to cease the tradition, even though they were usually a mess? I’m happy I did, since the hungry bug attacked in the middle of nowhere. This is where Concord California Restaurants stepped in.

The Top Five Restaurants in Concord, California
Doppio Nuovo
+172579138052020 Diamond Blvd., Concord, California, 74720, USA
It was time for a beautiful meal after checking into the Conrad Hilton hotel. Doppio Zero, an Italian restaurant, was recommended by Visit Concord. I could see The Veranda, the vast retail mall where it was situated, through my window; a stroll after the drive was precisely what I needed. These are some of the reasons why this is one of the greatest restaurants in Concord, California.
Doppio Zero is situated on the outskirts of this large retail area, where the white building gleams in the bright sunlight. I passed through an arch and found myself in front of a vast pond with a dancing water display. Looking to the right, I saw a lovely patio with royal blue umbrellas and matching striped seats. Imagine my surprise when I realized I had arrived at my goal.
I was shown to a nice table with a view of the pond and guests wandering casually around the grounds. The first item on the agenda was to order a glass of Prosecco. It had been a long journey, after all, and I thought I earned it.
I looked through the menu. Handmade pasta and sauces are prepared in the southern Italian way. What could possibly go wrong? Every cook will tell you that cooking lasagna is a time-consuming operation that results in multiple dishes that must be washed. As a result, I decided to hire a professional chef to cook one of my favorite pasta meals, beef lasagna.
It didn’t take long to figure out why this eatery was ranked #19 on Top 50 Pizzas. My lasagna came boiling hot, and the tantalizing fragrances were enough to make me pause and admire the apparent perfect combination of flavors. Then I bit into it. You recall that feeling when the meal hits your palate and all you can think is, Oh my, this is sooooo amazing.
As seen by Doppio Zeros continued growth, combine expertly cooked handmade pasta with a distinctive secret sauce, and you have a winner. They have locations in both San Francisco and Mountain View.
Alpine Dessert

There is no better way to start the day than with a croissant and a good cup of coffee. As a result, I went out to discover the almost 50-year-old bakery in Concord, one of the oldest in the region.
As you approach, you may be shocked by the size of the parking lot. Amazing was my initial thought. This location is well-known. I quickly discovered why this is one of the greatest Concord, California Restaurants.
There was an order queue, which was a good thing since it looped around the windowed showcase showcasing a vast range of pastries, all of which looked delicious. By the time I got to the head of the line, which took about 10 minutes, I’d chosen on two things: an apricot Danish and a black and white macaroon, both of which would come in useful for a snack later in the day.
I went outdoors to the terrace with my coffee and pastries. I sat in, located a seat, and smiled when I saw the big, about six-foot-tall sculpture of a fork standing in the courtyard. I appreciated the sense of humor, which helped elevate my spirits even more on this early morning.
Yeah, I can vouch to the Danish pastry’s genuineness. It was flaky, as you’d expect from European pastries, and the fresh apricots offered just the proper texture to complement the delicious custard.
Simply said, the macaroon served as a night snack, and I was not disappointed. Despite its size, I kept half for a snack on the way back to Palm Springs.
Bay Leaf Restaurant

With an early morning departure, I was assured the restaurant served a full breakfast. I went up the oak tree-lined street after parking the vehicle and located it beneath the shade of the massive oaks. I chose to sit on the terrace. It wasn’t long until I heard the calm talk of a neighboring couple, but the cheerful chirping of the birds on this bright sunny morning was more enjoyable. It is, by the way, dog-friendly.
They quickly gave me a nice cup of coffee. Despite the busyness, the server was courteous and somehow recognized my desire to simply be for a while. Evidently, I seemed to be in need.
I choose the omelet with sausage, spinach, and mushrooms. Far more than I need, but the handmade biscuits with honey were a huge success. Therefore, if you want to start your day in style, this is the place to be.
Cinnaholic

It is unusual to come across an organization that has presented on Shark Tank. Since the agreement did not work out, I believe the owners have not looked back, as they now have franchisees all throughout the country. I wanted to check what all the commotion was about, so I went inside their modest shop on a side street near the famed Concord Todos Santos Plaza. Here are some additional reasons why it is one of the greatest restaurants in Concord, California.
I was hesitant to buy a vegan, dairy-free, lactose-free, egg-free, and cholesterol-free cinnamon roll since I am not a vegetarian. Can you really blame me?
Ah, the options. Topping your cinnamon buns with flavored icing comes in a variety of flavors. I chose the basic icing since I was already skeptical. The topping is the next choice. I chose the white peach topping since I adored peaches.
This is a grab-and-go establishment. I paid the bill, which was not cheap. So I went outside to one of the two tables and ate my cinnamon bun there.
What was my reaction? Every bite was delicious. Let’s just say I’m glad it’s not in my neighborhood. Undoubtedly one of the nicest restaurants in Concord, California.
Pancho Villa’s

It would be negligent of her not to highlight Concord’s well-known Taco Trail. It was just designated a top marketing effort by the California Department of Tourism. Five individuals went out to photograph Mexican eateries and food trucks. Finally, they discovered 39 stations mapped with rest breaks to revamp if you need a break from all those culinary options.
I concentrated on Pancho Villa because I didn’t want to be left out. Yes, so it was next to a Habit of Humanity Restoration business in a strip mall, but I don’t regret my decision. As soon as I went in, I grinned to myself. It seems that I made a fantastic decision. The hues gray, white, and black were ideal for emphasizing the freshly refurbished, spotless decor.
With the warmth increasing, the first thing that sprang to mind was a Pacifica. So, with a cold drink in hand, I examined the menu. I felt it was time to branch out from my usual Mexican dish, Chile Rellenos, and ordered the Mixed Fajitas.
While waiting, I listened to salsa-style music, which contributed to the restaurant’s vibrant, good emotions. Workers in, the manager welcomed them by name, and they placed their orders without consulting the menus. This was clearly a popular eatery among the locals.
My dish came scorching hot, with steam billowing into the air. Shrimp, steak, and chicken were piled high on my dish, laying elegantly on a bed of onions and peppers. Another entrée was delivered, complete with beans, rice, and handmade corn tortillas. Undoubtedly one of the nicest restaurants in Concord, California.
My verdict? I’m not exaggerating when I say this is one of the best Mexican dinners I’ve ever eaten in the United States.

I had a handful of regrets when my time to Concord came to a close. One, I wish I had stayed longer since it is clear that I have just scratched the surface of what there is to see and do here. Second, I’d want to bring a Foodie Friend the next time so we may explore the gastronomic options that have yet to be discovered.
