Café Smorgas, a family-run Swedish restaurant, offers a diverse menu of Swedish and local foods. The open-faced sandwiches were my favorites, which makes sense given that smorgas is Swedish for sandwich!

Massimos
Jl. Danau Tamblingan No. 228 +62 361-288-942
The menu at Massimos is nearly overwhelming. The chef is from Italy, and it shows in his food. This is undoubtedly one of the top Sanur restaurants, and it is a favorite of many. The octopus carpaccio was thinly sliced before being drizzled with olive oil, lemon juice, and freshly cracked black pepper. This meal is still on my mind!

Leaving the best till last You can probably tell how many times I’ve visited this location by the quantity of images I have of it. This was by far my favorite restaurant in Sanur.
I’ve gone for breakfast and spent the whole day working there, lingering long enough to be hungry for lunch.
Another night, we had supper with friends here, and everyone raved about the meal. We enjoyed everything we tried. The display seemed tailor-made for Instagram, and the service was among the finest in town.
