Café Smorgas, a family-run Swedish restaurant, offers a diverse menu of Swedish and local foods. The open-faced sandwiches were my favorites, which makes sense given that smorgas is Swedish for sandwich!

If you follow me on Instagram, you know I’m always looking for delicious Mexican cuisine in Asia. My need was certainly fulfilled with jalapeo. The ricebowls and fresh guacamole were my favorite foods.
Chris Salans’ Spice

Spice combines French culinary methods with traditional Indonesian spices. With many sites on Bali (and more on the way), it’s clear that the idea has been warmly embraced.

White House was a pleasant surprise, and I anticipate to see it on many future lists of places to dine in Sanur. The menu was fascinating, the presentation was beautiful, and the food was great. During my stay, I had the chance to speak with the chef, who looked both enthusiastic and eager. I left wanting to sample everything on his menu.

The menu at Massimos is nearly overwhelming. The chef is from Italy, and it shows in his food. This is undoubtedly one of the top Sanur restaurants, and it is a favorite of many. The octopus carpaccio was thinly sliced before being drizzled with olive oil, lemon juice, and freshly cracked black pepper. This meal is still on my mind!

Leaving the best till last You can probably tell how many times I’ve visited this location by the quantity of images I have of it. This was by far my favorite restaurant in Sanur.
I’ve gone for breakfast and spent the whole day working there, lingering long enough to be hungry for lunch.
Another night, we had supper with friends here, and everyone raved about the meal. We enjoyed everything we tried. The display seemed tailor-made for Instagram, and the service was among the finest in town.
